Lovely photos. Brings back many good memories. I don’t know about you, but I didn’t expect to see such beautiful, lush, and diverse gardens in Buffalo – a pleasant surprise.

This is a nice collection of photos, a little different from what others have posted. Perhaps we will see these in some future publication?

@Monica, I’m not sure what I expected. I heard and read enough about the gardens to have some good expectations; it was the beautiful downtown that probably surprised me the most. I enjoyed that. Each morning, I walked down to the trial gardens. It was nice.

Great photos, Helen. Sounds/looks like you all had an awesome time. Though away, my head was often with you. Is that ‘Rocket’ ligularia on steroids? I though mine looked good

@Pam, he was in the Cottage area where there were three houses in a pie shaped area…does that ring a bell?

Beautiful photos Helen. I can’t get enough of photos of the Cottage District. The gardeners of ALL the areas we visited have been trying keep up with the posts everyone’s been sharing could not be more pleased with the images & coverage they’re getting. Thanks for coming out to see us in our little corner of the world and then letting everyone know what a great gardening city Buffalo is!

I know, right? I want a laughing demon too I’m not surprised by our great and wonderful similar taste, lol, after all we both bought a Doug Sargent metal garden art. I can’t wait to see a photo of yours in the garden! H.

I too missed that cool hanging gargoyle/demon thing. Of course is was pouring rain when I was over there. You got a good shot of the gnome. Mine didn’t turn out (rain again).

MMGD, I almost didn’t bother with the gnome shot (can you believe that?) due to the rain, but then, it lightened up just enough for me to take. That wonderful, rainy day resulted in my best photos.

You know I visited Buffalo a few years ago and never saw these cool sights. I think I must’ve been in the wrong spots:( Buffalo sure looks nice!

I have only been to Buffalo a couple of times. Both times were at night when we went to a comedy club there. After seeing these fantastic photos I will have to visit again in the daytime. Beautiful pictures!
